The tea plantations in Indonesia were large and many women worked picking the tea leaves. Tourists loved to take their pictures. Rather than accept money for tips, the women asked for tubes of lipstick as a special treat for them. My painting was inspired by these women who wanted to look elegant and here they are putting on the lipstick at the end of a hard work day- to look elegant.
Csilla Florida has always had the constant desire to dabble in art throughout her childhood. She studied at the University of Colorado, attended numerous workshops and was inspired by many artists, but impressionists are her favorite.
