I enjoyed sitting for hours on the Chobe River for 3 days photographing the herds of elephants with their babies coming down to the river to drink, bath, and socialize. They had so much personality and they really cared for each other, greeting each other with their trunks as new arrivals came down to the River. This wrinkled elephant had character. Wrinkles are traps to hold moisture in the hollows so it takes longer for the moisture to evaporate, thus keeping the elephant cooler longer. Elephants live to be 70-100 years old.

Csilla Florida has always had the constant desire to dabble in art throughout her childhood. She studied at the University of Colorado, attended numerous workshops and was inspired by many artists, but impressionists are her favorite.
